Winter Wonderland

Just back from a weekend of running and walking around snowy Bridge of Orchy. What a pleasant surprise to leave Glasgow and go north into a different world, as it all turned white just south of Crianlarich. Put in some good running on the WHW to Tyndrum on Friday (until the snow got knee-deep), and a fast walk into Glen Kinglass to recce the Taynuilt through-route on Saturday.

And, of course, lots of great food and drink at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel!

Demolition

Watched the high flats at Stirlingfauld Place getting demolished this morning. Very loud! Delighted to see them go.

Nice day again

And I managed to get out for a jog around the Kilpatrick Hills with a friend. Good weather, good company. Result - happy!

Malfunction

Me, not the camera!

Still on antibiotics for a couple of infected bites on my leg, which has knocked me down a bit. Shame, because I's started the year running strongly and training well. I guess it's just time to rest up, and hopefully re-start for the second half of the year. Anything big can always wait till next year, there's plenty of time yet.

New toy

Got a digital camera recently. My first (been borrowing until now). A decent wee Panasonic Lumix compact which seems to have done well last year, and being last year's model, it's quite a bit cheaper than the very latest gizmos. Just reading the instructions at the moment, hope to get some pics with it soon.

It's been a while...

...but I've found time to sort the layout at last. And now my blog is ready to go.

Oddly, I seem to be having problems viewing my last post, so I'll post more mindless rubbish to see if it clears the problem.
